Vintage Corte Throw Blanket - Flores
Sustainably sourced from artisan markets on the shores of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, this stunning, one-of-a-kind cotton throw blanket is made from a repurposed vintage Maya corte. Embracing centuries old weaving techniques, Maya women grow cotton to spin into threads and colour it using natural materials—no dyes. Each piece is handwoven on a back-strap loom and takes about three weeks to create. The result is a soft but heavy-weight fabric that lasts for a lifetime - perfect for a throw or bed runner.
