Embracing centuries old weaving techniques, Maya women grow cotton to spin into threads and colour it using natural materials. Each piece is handwoven on a back-strap loom and takes about three weeks to create. The result is a soft but heavy-weight fabric that lasts for a lifetime.

Please Note: each corte has been hand-crafted by Maya artisans using centuries old weaving techniques. Due to the delicate vintage nature of this item, subtle distressing is to be expected and small imperfections only add to it’s uniqueness and beauty.

To preserve to vibrancy of the colour and avoid shrinkage, we recommend that you machine wash gentle in cold water and lay flat to dry. Some shrinkage may occur in hot dryer.
